Margaret P. Burry, 80, of Berne, a retired seamstress, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Adams County Memorial Hospital, Decatur. The Jay County native attended First Missionary Church in Berne and worked at Jay Garment and Dunbar Furniture. Surviving are her daughter, Sue Sprunger of Berne; a brother, Melvin Miller of Portland; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl K.; two brothers; and three sisters.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne, with calling from 9 a.m. until time of services and also from 3 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be at MRE Cemetery, Berne.
