RESSIE LEE AUSTIN

Ressie Lee Austin of Graceville, Florida, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2010, at the Campbellton-Graceville Hospital following a brief illness. She was 95. Mrs. Austin was born on September 13, 1914, in Holmes County, Florida. Mrs. Austin was a loving and loved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed greatly. Mrs. Austin was preceded in death by her husband; William Gaston Austin, five brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jo Wanah and Adron Miller, and her son and daughter-in-law, Kenny D. and Shelia Austin; five grandchildren, Kevin D. Miller and his wife, Michelle, Jana Singletary, Sherrie Perry and her husband, Matt, Brent D. Austin and his wife, Tiffani, and Alycia Marr and her husband, Adam; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3p.m. on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Graceville, Florida, with the Rev. Teddy Ward, officiating. The family will receive friends before the funeral from 1p.m to 3p.m on Sunday at the Williams Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Marvin Chapel Cemetery in Graceville.
