Mary Hampson Christian, wife of George Christian, was born in Grant City, Penn., Sept. 10, 1886. Her death occurred in St. Joseph, MO. She leaves to mourn her death, the husband, four daughters, Margaret, Flora, Bernice, and Pauline, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Hampson of Ideal, S. D., four sisters and two brothers and a large circle of friends. Mr. and Mrs. Christian have for the last two years been living near Westboro coming here from Holt County. They were members of the Presbyterian Church at New Point in Holt County.
Mrs. Christian was a woman devoted to her family and respected and loved by those who knew her. The sympathy of the whole community goes out to the husband and the children who are most of all to miss her presence and care.
The funeral services were conducted in the Presbyterian Church at Tarkio by Rev. E. L. Robison, pastor of the Methodist Church at Westboro, assisted by Rev. C. P. Foreman, pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Tarkio, Sunday afternoon Sept. 8, at three o'clock. The burial was in the beautiful Home Cemetary at Tarkio.
