Janice V. Becktol Blanc, or "Mimi" as she became known as a grandmother, passed away July 14, 2010 in Gardner, KS at the age of 60.

Janice was born October 5, 1949 in El Reno, OK to Frank and Lida Lesperance Becktol. She graduated from El Reno high school in 1967 before going on to attend Warr Acres Beauty College. She was married in July 1968 in El Reno, moving to the Kansas City area in 1977 where she raised her family. She later relocated to Gardner, KS in 1999. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, watching movies, and spending time with her grandchildren and other family members. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Frank, Curt and his wife Nicole; seven grandchildren, Kali, Jordan, Cassandra, Alisha, Alex, Noah, and Angelina; a sister, Shirlene Coffey and husband Larry; three brothers, Frank Becktol and wife Linda, William Becktol, and Dean Becktol and wife Debra; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and friends.

She was loved and will be dearly missed.
