Daughter of the late William Spaulding and Marilla Lorene Johnson Adams, she was the widow of William Harcourt Thomas (married on April 22, 1944) who died on Janaury 20, 2002. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the American Colonists. She was survived by three daughters and one son, Connie Beth Bass, Cathy Streight, Mike Thomas and Susan Hammond; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Adams and Barney Adams. Her graveside funeral was held on April 20, 2009.
