Gladys Jean Waggoner, age 92, of Bedford, formerly of Salem, died Saturday, July 24 at 8:39 p.m. at the home of her granddaughter, Shelly Taylor.
She was a retired employee of Bata Shoe Company and was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
She was born August 23, 1917 in Ellettsville, the daughter of William and Iva Franklin Price.
She was preceded in death by her husband Olin in 1976 and her parents.
She is survived by two sons, Bill Waggoner and Charles Waggoner, both of Salem: eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time of service at Weathers Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chambersville Cemetery, near Ellettsvillle.
