BLANKENSHIP, Ethel June 86, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday July 13, 2010. June was born in South Shore, Kentucky on February 13, 1924 to Milford & Della (Adkins) Fraley. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. June had worked at both N.C.R. and Rikes. Preceded in death by her husband Homer Ray Blankenship in 1995 and a grandson, Jason Kerns. Survived by 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Anita & Dorsey Stidham, Allyse & David Kerns; 2 sons & daughter-in-law, Chris & Bonny Blankenship, Craig Blankenship; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren & 4 great great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mattie Blankenship, Edith Nibert & Esther Dickson; numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2010, at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "North Dayton Chapel," 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Pastor Jerry Siler, officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the George C. Martin Funeral Home. Condolences may be shared at www.georgecmartinfuneralhome.com.
