Survivors: husband, Orville; brother-in-law, Roger (Stella) Borgmann; two aunts, Theona Manchester and Katherine Loofbourrow; five nieces and nephews; special neighbors and friends, Mike (Dianna) Rice, Arthur (Melba) Kuhlman and Janet (Burdette) Hermanns; and many cousins and friends. Visitation: 12 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at Simmons-Rentschler Mortuary, Smith Center. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church, Athol. Memorials: the church or Smith County Historical Society, in care of the funeral home.
