Services were 2 p.m., June 12, in Montgomery-Viets Chapel in Buffalo. Recorded selections of "Sweet By and By" and "Where the Roses Never Fade" were played. Burial with military honors by Galmey V.F.W. Post 9638 was in Schofield Cemetery under the direction of Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.

Jerold Lester Agee was born March 8, 1935, at Foose, the son of Winfred A. and Ines Beatrice (Dodd) Agee. He died on June 8, 2009, at Citizens Memorial Healthcare in Bolivar at the age of 74 years and 3 months.

During the Korean War, he served his country in the U.S. Navy for four years. After completion of his military obligation, he was engaged in dairy farming.

He was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, Harold Agee.
