Bill, 54, of Oklahoma City, entered eternity to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 27, 1993. He died of long term complications from Hepatitis B. He was preceded in death by his parents, Royce Thompson and Lilly Thompson Bowring; a sister, Mary and a brother, Leon. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Melissa of Oklahoma City; son, Bill John of Moore; and friend and companion, Wendell Vandever of the home. He is also survived by a sister, Sandra Vigen of Ferndale, Washington, and a brother, Kay Thompson and sister-in-law, Ann of Spencer; grandson, Craig; granddaughters, Randi and Bridgett. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends. He was a graduate of Central State University and received a Masters degree in Library Science from the University of Oklahoma. He was a member of the faculty of Carl Albert High School for 22 years. He was a member of Our Lord's Community Church, and had no fear of death as he knew his Creator would receive him to be with the angels.
