Adams was born January 13, 1922 in Johnson County, the daugther of Fonzo and Mollie Selvage Adams.
Surviving are one son, Charles T. Melvin of Columbus, Ohio; four sisters, Bess Ward of Van Lear, Alta Melvin of Paintsville, Dess Lyons of Salyersville and Anna Robinson of Ashland; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 15, in Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Clarence Lemaster officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial at Staffordsville
