Dr. Clifford Rhea Maddox, 71, of Cedarville OH and dean emeritus of Cedarville College, died November 6, 1965 in Morris Memorial Hospital in Morristown NJ. He suffered a stroke while attending an education meeting there. Dr. Maddox had been dean of students at Cedarville College from 1958 until his retirement in 1964 and was a life member of Phi Delta Kappa honorary fraternity, the Rotary Club, the Illinois Congress of Parent-Teachers and the American Legion. He was born September 18, 1894 in KY. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Miriam Boltz Maddox; daughters, Elizabeth Bremer of Glen Ellyn IL, Martha Hodapp of Harvey IL, and Audrey Boltz Jennings of Dayton OH; son Lee Maddox of Morristown NJ and six grandchildren. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Cedarville OH
