Henry Clinton Fielder, age 70, died this morning at 10:30 o'clock at his residence on East 10th St. following an illness that has afflicted him several years. He lately suffered a stroke of paralysis and since Monday
noon his condition had been critical. Mr. Fielder is a retired grocer of this city. He was born 6 miles northeast of Bloomington and had lived in this county all his life.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 PM in Bethel Church with interment in the cemetery adjoining. Rev. George W. Miller of the Baptist Church will officiate. Mrs. Leslie Peters will sing during the services.

Surviving Mr. Fielder are the widow, Mary Victoria Fielder, a daughter, Mrs. H. E. Thrasher, 3 sons, Cornelius, John and Lloyd, all of this city; 4 brothers, Wade, John Thomas and Jack of Bloomington. There are also 24 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mr. Fielder was preceded in death by a son, William T., and a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Isabel Alexander. The deceased was a member of the First Baptist Church of Unionville station. Mr. and Mrs. Fielder had been married 47 years last December 13th.

Active pallbearers will be Cornelius, John and Floyd Fielder, James Henry and Harry Alexander and Harley Thrasher. Honorary pallbearers will include:
William Dixson, Alva Eller, Joe Hensley, Ben Skirvin, W. P. Dill and Horace Blakely.
