A veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and U.S. Air Force, having served with special services during the Korean Conflict, Louis was a member and past commander of American Legion Post #521, Pasadena. Louis was survived by a large and loving family, wife of 45 years, Dorothy Dastous; children and grandchildren. A Celebration of Life was held on Monday, November 22, 1999, at the Pasadena Funeral Chapel, with Chaplain Cal Gruetzmacher officiating. Interment followed at Houston National Cemetery, under the auspices of American Legion Post #521, Pasadena-Memorial Team.
