LAKELAND - Aaron E. "Buster" Austin, of 215 Pinehurst St., died Friday (April 8, 1983) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
A native of Lakeland, he lived here all his life. He was retired from Montgomery Ward & Co. and the Fox-N-Hound department store. He was a veteran of World War II, U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy; his son Col. Freddie C. Austin, Washington, D.C.; his mother, Estella Capers, Lakeland; brothers, John H. Layton, Burton, S.C., and Willie Burns, Lakeland; sisters, Martha Cooper and Annie Rivers, both of Lakeland.
