MULBERRY - Mrs. Essie (Tessie) Mae Bell of Mulberry died Tuesday (March 10, 1998) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 85.
She was born in Marianna on Dec. 7, 1912. She retired as a housekeeper. She was a member of St. James Primitive Baptist Church, where she was a member of the usher and mother's boards and the church school.
She is survived by her sons, Ike Bell Jr. and Otis Bell, both of Mulberry, and Sidney Bell, Winter Haven, and daughters Floral Taylor, Lakeland, and Almeda Ford, Lillian Baker and Carrie Walker, all of Mulberry.
Services will be at 2 this afternoon at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.
