Floyd Glyn Eanes Jr., 62, of Teakwood Lane, Martinsville, died Sunday, June 19, 2005, at Southern Comfort Adult Care in Collinsville.
Eanes was born April 11, 1943, in Franklin County to Floyd Glyn Eanes Sr., deceased, and Roena Rigney Eanes of Martinsville.
Eanes was a retired brick mason for Frith Construction Co.
He was of the Baptist faith and served in the Martinsville National Guard in the 1960s.
In addition to his mother, surviving are two sisters, Kathy M. Eanes and Patty M. Eanes, both of Martinsville; three brothers, Samuel E. Eanes of Martinsville, Lewis A. Eanes of Draper, N.C., and Larry L. Eanes of Collinsville; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Roselawn Burial Park with the Rev. Doug Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
Visitation will be held today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services.
