The funeral services for Mrs. F. J. Acrea, affectionately known as “Grandma,” were held at the Primitive Baptist church Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Acrea had recently come from Long Beach, Calif., to visit her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Irvin at Des Moines, when she died quite suddenly at the age of 79 years. She leaves sons, William of Wadsworth, Nev., John of Portland, Ore., and Charles of Huntington Beach, Calif.; daughters, Mrs. Mary Cecil, Mrs. Coila McDaniel and Birtle of Long Beach, Calif.; Leslie who lives in Canada, Austin of Cottonwood, S. D.; Mrs. Minnie Irvin of Des Moines, Mrs. J. Wcatherly and Mark Acrea of Neola. Burial was in the Frazier cemetery.
