Born Jan. 20, 1919, in Oakland Mills, he was the son of the late Carroll Ephraim and Laura Virginia Parrish Williams.
He was the husband of Gloria Lucille Boone Williams, who he married in 1946.
He was an Army World War II veteran, having served at Normandy Beach and honorably discharged as sergeant in 1945. He was a retired spot welder for Beacon Steel Company in Westminster. He was a member of Wakefield Valley Bible Church where he served as a former deacon, Sunday School superintendent and was a member of the Mission Board.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children and spouses Norris E. "Gene" Williams, of Herndon, Va., Beverly E. and James Saucerman, of Bowie, Richard L. Williams, of Frederick, and Russell L. Williams, of Westminster; a sister, Josephine A. Cowan, of Goldsboro; grandsons David J. Saucerman, of Bowie and Scott A. Williams, of College Station, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; a former daughter-in-law, Claudia Sibert, of Tennessee; and friends Douglas Bailey, of Frederick and Nancy Saucerman, of Lottsburg, Va.
He was predeceased by siblings Alice C. Chew, Elva B. Bond, Hollis L. Cowan; and infant, Oscar Williams.
Interment, with military honors, in Pipe Creek Cemetery.
