NELS P. A. HULTGREN OF VARNA, CLAIMED BY DEATH
Nels A. Hultgren passed away Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. July 14, 1936, at his home in Varna. He had been ill with heart trouble for the past ten years, but the extreme heat of Tuesday was the immediate cause of his death.
Mr. Hultgren was born at Doderhult, Sweden, the son of Erland F. and Stina Nelson Hultgren. He came to Varna 54 years ago, and was 79 years, 10 months, and 13 days old at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Ellen.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2:30, at the Swedish Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Nilsson in charge. A. C. Lindbloom of Henry has charge of the funeral arrangements.
Burial will be made in the Swedish Cemetery (First Lutheran Cemetery #1) at Varna, IL.
