Maxine Moroney. 90, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away Oct. 10, 2009. Born May 12, 1919 in Morrill, Kan. Maxine is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Matt) Colletti; sons, Phil (Liz) Boling, Gary (Dee) Moroney, all of Pueblo, Richard (Jane) Boling, of Aurora, Kan.; nieces, Glenda and Shirley Atkinson, of Albuquerque, N.M.; sisters-in-law, Rose Moroney, Shirley Moroney, Barbara (Tony) Fortino, and Betty Moroney; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Joe Moroney; infant son, Frederick; parents, Loyd and Grace Landis; sister, Neta Atkinson; in-laws, Frank and Mary Morone, Pete Moroney, Nellie (Chuck) Cuchiara, and Eva (Howard) Kellogg. Maxine retired from the Colorado State Hospital. She loved to travel, shopping, and ballroom dancing with her husband Joe. The family wishes to thank Dr. Ted Puls and Dr. Roger Mann, the staff and residents at University Park Care Center, and special caregivers, Barbara Bigley and Annmarie Vialpando. Visitation, 2 to 4 p.m. today, Oct. 14, 2009, Roselawn Funeral Home. Rosary 7 p.m. this evening, St Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral Mass, 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009 also at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
