Lucille "Hudson" Colvin, 88, of Big Clifty, died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville. She is a native of Marion County, a member of Needham Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and a farmer. She was preceded in death by her first husband Boyd Walker Hudson; her second husband, O'Colonel Colvin; her parents, Joseph Abell and Bertha Newton Abell; one son, Benjamin Buckman; one daughter, Lois Miranda; and three brothers, Dennis, Thomas, and Albert Abell. She is survived by one son, William Hudson of Big Clifty; four daughters, Inez Nichols of Greencove Springs, FL, Fern Logsdon of Fayetteville, GA, Brenda Cooper of Cecilia, and Peggy Lindsey of Brooksville, FL; one son-in-law, Lorgio Miranda of Big Clifty; twenty three grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. The funeral is Monday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, with Bro. Shelby Haire officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday and after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com
