Chas A Clark Pendleton dies
Funeral services Sunday at Mortuary
PENDLETON, IND - June 10 -
Charles Andrew Clark, age 73, retired contractor here, died this evening at his home on North Main St following an illness of several months.
The body was removed to the Davis and Sloan Funeral Mortuary where funeral services will be held at 3:30pm on Sunday. Burial will be in the Grove Lawn Cemetery. It was announced that friends may call at the funeral home.
Surviving are the widow, Clara; six daughters, Mrs Oliver Stockman, of Cornwall on the Hudson, NY; Mrs Homer McClintock and mrs Victor Riggs, both of Anderson; Mrs Walter Ford of Newcastle; Mrs Norman Blue, of Indianapolis; and Mrs Horace Jacobs of Pendleton; two sons John and Walter, both of Pendleton; 21 Grandchildren, five great grandchildren; five half-brothers and three half-sisters.
Mr Clark was born in Louisville, KY, the son of Thomas and Mary Clark, but had spent most of his life in this vicinity. He was a member of the I O O F Lodge and the Christian Brotherhood.
