Mrs Clara Clark
PENDLETON - Mrs Clara E Clark, lifelong resident of Pendleton, died Tuesday morning at the Lakeland Hospital in Elkhorn, WISC. She was 89.
Mrs Clark, widow of Charles F Clark, would have observed her 90th birthday in Feb. Her husband died 23 years ago. She had resided in Wisconsin for two years.
She was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Pendleton and was the oldest OES Member in Madison County. She was a member of the Pendleton Methodist Church.
Surviving are 5 daughters; Mrs Mabelle Rigg, Mrs Katie Ford, Mrs Eleanor Jacobs and Mrs Agnes McClintock, all of Anderson; and Mrs Eva Blue, Lake Geneva, Wisc, a son Mr Walter Clark Deland, Florida and 21 grandchildren.
The body was brought to the Cornell Bright Funeral Home in Pendleton where friends will be received after 5pm Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at the funeral home. The Rev L Wayne Eller of Red Key and Dr T R White of Pendleton will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Lawn Cemetery
