A. Leroy Bussey, 73, died Dec. 23, 2007, at Hutchinson Hospital.

He was born June 28, 1934, in Butler, Mo., the son of Lena James. A resident of Hutchinson, he was a retired machinist for Eaton Corporation.

On Dec. 1, 1977, he married Heidi Kummerling in Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Jim and Joe; two daughters, Dena Bowen and husband Ronald, and Lori Bussey; stepchildren, Christie Hill and husband Dennis, Heidi Myers, Tammara Bowen and husband Thomas, and Terry Sutton and wife Lori; 24 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.

Memorials may be sent to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, in care of the funeral home.
