Elva M. Allison, 82, of Millersburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Altercare of Millersburg Nursing Home, after an extended illness. Services were on Saturday, Dec. 24 at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with the Rev. David Carrick officiating, Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery. She was born in 1912 in Sugarcreek to Monroe M. and Susan (Yoder) Miller and married Ernest W. Allison on Oct. 13, 1945. He died Dec. 13, 1971. She had worked at Joel Pomerene Memorial Hospital in Millersburg as a nurse and was a member of the Millersburg Christian Church. Surviving are one stepson, Herbert Guy Allison of Killbuck; one sister, Mary Beachy of Walnut Creek; two brothers, Levi M. and Raymond M. Miller, both of Florida; and three half - brothers, Noah M. Miller and Monroe M. Miller, Jr., both of Millersburg and Edwin E. Miller of London, Ohio. In addition to her husband, two stepchildren, Don Allison and Margaret Elliott, an infant brother, and a half - brother, George M. Miller, died previously.
