JULIA AMELIA HABERMAN.
Born April 1, 1844, and Died
August 10, 1902, aged 58 Years,
4 Months, and 9 Days.

DEEDS OF KINDNESS.
Julian Amelia Haberman was born near Danville, Des Moines Co., Iowa, April 1, 1844, and was called to her well earned rest August 10, 1902, being at the time of her death, 58 years, 4 months and 9 days old.

She was the youngest child of Samuel and Sarah Chapman and gave the man undivided care during the last eighteen years of their lives, having but once left the homestead in four years preceding her father's death, and that only to go to her nearest sisters on an errand for him.

Although her life has been uneventful in change of location, it has been untiring in deeds of kindness and love.

She grew to womanhood at her late home near Bonaparte and was married to F. H. Haberman of Sweden, April 21, 1880.

Possessing a natural liking for books she became a reader of useful literature, and has made a pleasant home for her husband by her untiring efforts in reading.

Although she had been a sufferer for years with heart trouble she had ever been patient and kind, and enjoyed to the utmost the pleasure of home.

Besides her husband and a host of sorrowing friends, she leaves five sisters and five brothers. Margaret Crawford of Middletown, Iowa, Alfred Chapman and Mrs. B. F. Whitmore of Bonaparte, Iowa, Mary A. Hillman of Beloit, Kansas, Samuel, Daniel, Henry and Victoria Chapman of Oregon, Wm. Chapman and Mrs. C. P. Young living near Bonaparte.
These with their children will always remember a sister and aunt as one of the few to whom self denial was no cross.

Funeral rites were observed at her home near Bonaparte, August 12, 1902, and her remains interred in the family burying ground, beside that father and mother she loved so well.
