My 3rd Great Grandmother's Father's parentage is questioned as being Sr versus Son Jr. The confusion is because both Isaac Abner Boothe Sr and Jr had daughters named Permelia Booth. Following is confirmed by census and wills. Isaac Abner Booth Sr Daughter Permelia Booth married Asa W Osbourne. Isaac Abner Booth Jr Daughter Permelia Amelia Booth married David Palmer Spangler. Our family bible records have Jr. Isaac Abner Boothe Jr's Will has his daughter as Permelia Spangler. We believe because of the confusion that it was why my 3rd GG went by Amelia and her Aunt by Millie. My DNA match on 3 sites are strongly tied to Nancy Agnes McAlexander as her mother through the McAlexander descendants DNA matches. Nancy Agnes McAlexander is confirmed Isaac Abner Booth Jr's wife.
