RICHARD "DICK FOSTER DIES AT HOME HERE. --- Retired Fairfield Building Contractor Succumbs to Heart Attack.
Richard "Dick FOSTER, 83, retired building contractor, passed away at his home on West Main Street about 4:30 o'clock Monday afternnon following a hear attack. Mr. FOSTER had been in declining health for some time suffering from the frailties of advanced age. On Friday afternoon he suffered a severe heart attack and another the following morning, His condition grew steadily weaker until the third attack just before he died.
For many years Mr. FOSTER was well known as a building contractor in this community. He was first a member of the firm of Felix, Brown, & Foster, spending the latter years of his active life in partnership with the late Grant Brown. The services were held at the Nale funeral home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. (today) by Rev. Allan Gill, of Golden Gate. Burial was in the Maple Hill cemetery, Richard Brandon FOSTER, son of Joshua George FOSTER & Clarissa Evelyn ROGERS FOSTER was born in Quailrun, Ind. on February 28, 1863. Coming to this county at an early age, he was married to Flora Alice LUSTER, of Fairfield on January 1st 1890. To this union six children were born two dying in infancy. Surviving are three daughters, Josephine, wife of Uel Phelps, of Fairfield, Gladys, wife of J. R. MOSELY, of West Frankford, and Carolyn, wife of Roy JOHNSON, of Golden Gate, one son, Luster V .
