Hancock County, Georgia, Wills. Levi Lancaster of Hancock Co., dec'd. Will, pp 158 -159. Dated 18 Dec 1803. Proved: No date available. In a weak and low condition and to all human expectations near the close of life.

To my beloved wife Ann Lancaster 1 feather bed and furniture, the debt due me from Jark G ... all the debts due me for Taylor?, the debt due me from Tap? for tobacco sold him. The __ to the family of Negroes we now have in possession (to wit) Abigail and her issue agreeable to an ... by Benjamin Jones my ... relative thereto ...

Also to my wife... during her natural life the plantation where I now live, furniture, etc.... to my son Thomas Lancaster the sum of one Soldiers Bounty Warrant. To my daughter Nancy Harvey one half of a Soldier's Bounty Warrant. To my three grandchildren... Am Weeks, Elizabeth Weeks and Nancy Weeks, $2.00 each. 1830 Hancock County, Georgia Court of Ordinary Minutes, (1817-1837), pg. 665 - Monday, September 6th 1830... Mackiness Goode verses Joseph Bryan and Thomas Lancaster, Executors of &c of Levi Lancaster, deceased, On Petition to make title &c. On reading and filing the petition of Mackiness Goode, showing that the said Levi Lancaster in his lifetime made and executed to him his certain obligation in writing, whereby he bound himself to make or cause to be made to the said Goode, good and sufficient titles in fee simple to a certain lot of land near the Ocoee River, originally granted to Benjamin Tennille and conveyed to by said Tennille to Levi Lancaster containing three hundred acres (reference being had to the deed will fully show) said titles to be made when lawfully called for - and showing that the said Levi departed this testate - and that Joseph Bryan and Thomas Lancaster of said county are the qualified executors of the will of said deceased - and further that the condition of said bond had not been complied with, and that no titles have been made by the said Levi in his lifetime, or by said executors since his death - On motion in behalf of said Goode, it is ordered that the executors be directed at the next term of this Court, after the expiration of three months from this time, to make titles to the said Goode for said land in said obligation described according to the condition thereof & agreeably to such obligation unless sufficient cause to the contrary be shown & and it is further ordered that three months notice hereof be given in the Hancock Advisories, and at two or more public places in this county-

1831*Hancock County, Georgia, GA, Court of Ordinary Minutes, (1817-1837), pg. 682 - Monday, March 14th 1831... Mackiness Goode having by his Petition to this court prayed that Joseph Bryan and Thomas Lancaster, executors of the last will and testament of Levi Lancaster, deceased. Should comply with the condition of a certain bond or obligation executed by said Levi to the said Mackiness and should make good and sufficient titles in fee simple to the said Mackiness to a certain tract of land near the Ocoee River, originally granted to Benjamin Tennille and conveyed by said Tennille to the said Levi Lancaster, containing three hundred acres and this Court having by its order directed the said Executor to make titles agreeably to the condition of said bond - unless sufficient cause should be shown to the contrary - Which order having been duly published according to the order of this Court - and now at this term on cause being shown to the contrary by the said executors - On motion in behalf of the said Mackiness Goode - It is ordered that the said Joseph Bryan & Thomas Lancaster, executors of the said Levi Lancaster, deceased do comply with the condition of the said obligation and execute to the said Goode a deed in fee simple of the said land in said obligation described, to wit, a certain tract of land near the Ocoee River originally granted to Benjamin Tennille and conveyed by said Tennille to the said Levi Lancaster containing three hundred acres.
