Arnold E. Mason, 77, Carmichael, Calif., died Saturday (Nov. 10, 2001). Mr. Mason was a veteran of World War II. He was born Jan. 12, 1924, in Markle, to William and Tressie Mason. He is survived by his wife, Lois Mason; two sons, Lynn Mason, Sacramento, Calif., and Larry Mason, Nevada City, Calif.; three brothers, Kyle Mason and Paul Mason, both of Indiana, and Oliver Mason, Kentucky; and four grandchildren. Calling is 5-7 p.m. Thursday and services are at 1 p.m. Friday at the Lind Brothers Mortuary, Carmichael Oaks Chapel, 4221 Manzanita Ave., Carmichael, Calif.
