They have the following family, viz: Josephine C., born Jan. 17, 1857; Adalaide V., June 10, 1864; Jennie A., Feb. 7, 1867, and Lillie I., Jul. 29, 1870. Mr. Allen came to Knox county in 1867, and located in Middlebury township, He owns a well improved farm, and is one of the active and energetic men of the township.
