Dr. Edwin A. Danford, 59, a pediatrician here the past 30 years, died about 8:20 a.m. yesterday after apparently suffering a heart attack at the Lindeman Ranch near Kerrville. He had practiced in association with Dr. M. Kurzner since 1946. He lived with his wife, Wilma, at 230 Indiana. Dr. Danford also had ranching and farming interests in South Texas. He particularly was proud of a Jim Wells County ranch he and his wife purchased about 16 years ago as unproductive brush country and built into a highly productive livestock farm. He was born in Scottown, Ohio. He attended Marshall College, Peabody College, and the University of Cincinnati and specialized in pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati Children's Hospital. He was a member of the Ayers Street Church of Christ, the Nueces County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, Pan American Medical Association, the Corpus Christi Pediatrics Society and the Corpus Christi County Club. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Cage-Mills Funeral Home. Surviving besides his wife are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Danford of Chesapeake, Ohio; two brothers, M. C. Danford and Paul Russell Danford, both of Corpus Christi; and four sisters, Mrs. Ernest Mance of Chesapeake, Ohio, Mrs. Paul Dillon of Asheville, Ohio, Mrs. I. Smith of Huntington, W.
