Mrs. Jessie R., wife of Dr. H. L. Stoner, of this city, was laid to rest in Wellington Cemetery Tuesday afternoon. Her death came April 13 after a few weeks illness, and the funeral was held from the First Methodist Church, Tuesday, April 17, 2 p.m. The Rev. A. B. Davidson preached the funeral sermon.
Mrs. Stoner was born Dec. 18, 1892, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schroegler of Mississippi who were present at the funeral. She was married to Dr. H. L. Stoner and to this union five children were born, four boys and one girl. She was a devoted wife and mother and her death is a great loss to them. She was a kind neighbor and friend and will be missed by all who had the honor of her acquaintance and friendship.
