Graveside services for Basil Huddleston, 73, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Orchard Cemetery, with Rev. Howard Gates officiating.
Huddleston was employed at Duval Sulphur Co. for 37 years.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Huddleston of Rosenberg; one daughter, Wilma Johnson of Rosenberg; one son, John Huddleston of Kerrville; one sister, Dora Mae McGinnes of Houston; one brother, A.B. Huddleston of Houston; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Fund.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Garmany & Carden Funeral Home of Rosenberg.
