Bernard "Bud" Weaver fifty-three 1599 N. Market Street, Elizabethtown, died early Thursday morning in St. Petersburg, Fla., after an illness of several years.
Born at New Oxford, he was a son on the late Bernard J. and Mabel Motter Weaver, and was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical United Brethren Church, Elizabethtown. A retired employee of Olmsted Air Force Base, he was a graduate of the Elizabethtown High School Class of 1930. His wife, the former Anna C. Smith died Oct. 9, 1964.
Surviving is a daughter, Miss Nancy Weaver, at home, a sister Mrs. Gertrude Weidman, Elizabethtown; and 2 brothers, Gerald Weaver, Wilmington, Del., and Cecil Weaver, Elizabethtown. [Lancaster Intelligencer Journal, Lancaster, PA, April 15, 1966]
