Clara G. Sears Pace, 87, of Girard, died at 8:25 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010 in the Girard Medical Center in Girard. She was born Oct. 28, 1922 in Altamont, Kan., a daughter of Howard and Kate (Alexander) George. She married Victor H. Sears on May 12, 1946 in Howard George's home in Oswego. He preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 1980. She married Francis Pace on April 30, 1997 in Hepler, Kan. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy J. Rasmussen, a great-grandson, Geramie Kirby, and three brothers.
