Kerrville Times, October 29, 1957, Medina - Funeral services are scheduled to be held in the First Baptist Church here at 2:30 p.m. today with Rev. Elbert Adams officiating for Mrs Dora Lee Mayfield, 61, who died Sunday evening in a Kerrville hospital.

Interment will follow in the Baker Cemetery in Medina, Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.

Mrs Mayfield is survived by her husband D. M. of Medina; foun daughters, Mrs. R. A. Wilmoth, Mrs L. M. Haddock and Mrs. W. E. Lester, all of Santonio and Mrs. Dean George of Medina; three sons, W. C., L. D. and L. M., all of San Antonio, and 14 grandchildren.

Mrs. Dora Lee Mayfield was Born June 19, 1896 near Warren Okla, and came to Medina with her family in 1907. She passed Oct. 27, in Kerrville at the age of 61 years, 4 months and 8 days.

Mrs Mayfield was married to Denny M. Mayfield, Aug. 8, 1915, who survives her. To this union seven children were born, four daughters, Mrs. R. A. Wilmoth, and L.M. Haddock of San Antonio, and Dean George of Medina; three sons, W. C., L. D. and L. M. all of San Antonio and 14 grandchildren. She is also survived by 9 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mrs Mayfield united with the Medina Baptist church in 1911 where she has faithfully served these 46 years.

She was given a beautiful memorial Tuesday afternoon by her church. Her pastor, Rev. Elbert Adams delivered the eulogy and interment was in the Baker Cemetery.
