Lena Amy Edmiston Christianson 100, died August 27, 2003 in Hamilton. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Scott Youngblood officiating.

Mrs. Christianson was born June 13, 1903 at Flatt, Coryell County, the daughter of Clarence Eugene Edmiston and Willie Eunice Kearney Edmiston.

She has lived most of her life in Hamilton. She was married to Alfred Jorgen Christianson on October 10, 1922 at Hamilton. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1993.

She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a member of the Hamilton's First United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alfred; her parents; six sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Kauitzsch and Charlie Krueger; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Johnnye Marcum; two brothers, Carter Edmiston and Keraney Edmiston.

Pallbearers were Michael Kauitzsch, Gary Kauitzsch, Aaron Kauitzsch, Kevin Krueger, Charles Krueger and Stephen Kauitzsch.
