Max Kane
Elwood - Max Wesley Kane, 62, Rt. 3, Elwood, died unexpectedly Thursday at Mercy Hospital in Elwood.
He was born March 27, 1925, in Curtisville.
He was employed at the Elwood Post Office and formerly was employed at Oakland school. He was affiliated with East Main Street Christian Church a member of Elwood country club and several bowling leagues. He was a Veteran of world War II.
Survivors include his wife Mary Blubaugh, a daughter Linda Bain of Batesville, Ark., three sons, Kenneth Huffman, San Francisco, Calif., Ronald Huffman, Elwood, and Robert Huffman, a sister, Hilda Brunson, Elwood, a brother, Frank (June) Kane of Florida, 15 grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Services will at _ Monday at Copher and Fesler funeral home in Elwood with the Rev. Paul Remick officiating. Burial will at Elwood City cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
