DEATH OF MRS. J. W. FRY

Mrs. J. W. Fry, who has been in ill health for a number of years died Sunday, October 9th, at her home in Earlham. She was 70 years of age, and had been an invalid for the past twelve years.

The deceased was a daughter of James and Rebecca Webb, and came to Iowa in 1866 with her parents. When she was seven years of age, the family moved to Madison county. Her marriage to James W. Fry took place, August 28, 1888. Mr. Fry and their five children survive her. Roy, Rolland and Garry of Earlham, Mrs. Charles Peterson of Peru, and Marion of Los Angeles, California. She also leaves two brothers, William Webb of Edmonds, Washington, Frank of Redfield and three sisters Mrs. Rosa Sterson of Roanoke, Indiana, Mrs. Isabella Peters of Fort Dodge and Mrs. Dora Willis of Portland, Oregon.

The Rev. W. C. Porter, pastor of the United Presbyterian church, conducted her funeral services, which were held at the Presbyterian church in Earlham Tuesday afternoon, October 11th at 1:30 o'clock. Burial was in the Earlham cemetery.

When a girl, Mrs. Fry joined the Fairview church, and after her marriage, became a member of the Earlham Presbyterian church. She was also a member of the Rebecca lodge in Earlham.
