Ralph Eden, 77, Farmington, died Wednesday, February 2, 1994, at the Donnellson Health Center. He was born October 25, 1916, at Lone Tree, the son of Howard and Frata Morrison Eden. On July 28, 1946, he married Evelyn Walraven at Cedar Rapids. She survives. Mr. Eden was a truck driver, and had moved to Farmington from Muscatine. Also surviving are one son, Larry Eden, Farmington; one daughter, Linda Eden, Springfield, Oregon; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred Eden, Bonaparte, and George Eden, Staunton, Virginia; and five sisters, Helen Latta and Gertrude Swanson, both of Lone Tree, Mildred Wilson, Bonaparte, Vera Hemmings, Fort Madison and Ruth Dilger, Pasadena, California. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 5, at Hofbauer Funeral Home with Reverend Fred Malone officating. Burial was in Swank Cemetery, Lone Tree. A memorial has been established for the Farmington EMT's.
