Peoria, IL - Burlyene B. Shearer, 63, of 831 Victoria Circle, Ormond Beach, Fla., formerly of Peoria, died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 1999, in Deltona, Fla.
She was born Nov. 12, 1935, in Peoria to Matt and Mella Simmons Morrow.
Surviving are one son, Virgil Phillips of Ormond Beach; three stepsons, Doug Shearer of Chicago, Mark Shearer of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Steve Shearer of Deltona; one daughter, Brenda Lane of Deltona; two stepdaughters, Leslie Beauchamp and Renee Lynch, both of Daytona Beach; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Edwin Morrow of Trivoli, Joe Morrow of Washington and Rick Morrow of Mackinaw; and three sisters, Dorothy Svetich of Peoria, Neva Buttell of Chillicothe and Phyllis Gertz of Tucson, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by one grandson and three sisters.
She owned and operated the Koffee Kup restaurant in Florida.
She formerly attended Christian Assembly Church.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
