Burial Plot: Lot 11-sec. 3-4th ADDDate of Death: May 30, 1976Date of Burial: June 2, 1976 Mary E. Adams Mrs. Mary E. Adams, 93, a resident of the Berne Nursing Home, died at 6:35 p.m. Sunday at the Adams County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since May 15. She suffered a broken hip in a fall May 10, 1975 and had ailed since. Death was attributed to complications and infirmities. She was born December 21, 1882 in Mercer county, Ohio, the daughter of David and Mary Elizabeth Hortsog-Debolt. She married Charley F. Adams January 19, 1906??, Jefferson Township where the couple resided most of their lives. Mr. Adams died in 1970. Surviving are three sons, Chester, L. Adams, Glen W. and Ora S., all of Route 2, Berne; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Rudy DeBolt, Route 2, Berne; and a sister, Mrs. Bertha DeBolt, Decatur. Four brothers, John, Chancey, William and Homer DeBolt preceded in death. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Bethel Brethren Church. The body is at the Yager Funeral Home where friends may call after 3 p.m. today and where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev.
