In 1904 Edwin married Caroline Elizabeth Fever at Tumbridge Wells.
In the 1911 census Edwin is listed as a 32 year old bricklayer residing in Brenchley, Kent, with his wife Catherine Elizabeth age 31 also born in Brenchley and their children Eric Alexander 2 and Hubert Douglas 1 both born in Brenchley.
Note: marriage records give his wife's name as Caroline Elizabeth Fever but the 1911 census says Catherine Elizabeth.
