MACON - Jackie E. Victoria, 88, died Wednesday in a local hospital. Memorial services will be held at 4 P.M., Saturday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with the Rev. Rob McDaniel officiating.

Mrs. Victoria, daughter of the late Santa A. Potter and Effie Irene Williams Potter, was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Wilson Brown, Sr. and her son, Frank Wilson Brown, Jr.

She was born in Town Creek, NC, educated in Bolivia, NC and was retired from the Department of Defense. Mrs. Victoria was a member of Silver Lake Baptist Church, Wilmington, NC. Mr. and Mrs. Victoria were supporters of Faith Children's Home in Tampa, FL for twenty-two years and also served as emergency foster care parents in Virginia for twenty years.

Survivors include her husband, Antonio Victoria, Macon; her son, Lewis Wayne (Marjorie D.) Brown, Macon; sisters, Effie Belle Clemmons, Awanda M. Lewis of Wilmington, NC and Geneva Cahoon of Warwick, RI; her grandchildren, Donald Wayne Brown, Fayetteville, AR, Melanie Brown Long, Cypress, TX, Lisa Diane Brown, Orlando, FL and Daniel Wayne Brown, Macon; great grandchildren, Adam Brown, Mark Brown, Lauren Brown of Fayetteville, AR and Shawn Curtis Brown and Virginia Ann Brown of Macon.
