Konstanty Adach, the son of Thomas and Mary Adach, was born on July 24, 1895, in Austria. When he was fourteen years old, he came over to America with his parents on the S.S. Vaderland and arrived here on June 20, 1911.
Konstanty enlisted in the United States Army and held the rank of Private First Class. He served with Company B, 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. Konstanty was wounded at the Battle of Belleau Woods and died on June 23, 1918, at La Ferte-sous-Jouarre, France.
