ANTILL, ALFRED MANSFIELD, Private, No. 18889, 2nd Battalion South Wales Borderers, son of George William Antill, of Carisbrooke Road, Newport, Monmouth, by his wife, Harriett, daughter of Elisha Sant; b. Newport, 25 Jan. 1895; educated Maindee Board School there; enlisted in Jan. 1915, and was killed in action at the Dardanelles, 28 June, 1915. He had been acting as orderly to Captain Fowler.
