PRIVATE WILLIAM A KURKOWSKI

When Pvt William Kurkowski was born on March 3, 1892, in Germany, his father, John, was 39 and his mother, Louise (Baronofski/Barnowski), was 36. He had three brothers and eight sisters. He emigrated to Nebraska, USA on May 5th 1892 (See Passenger list below). In 1900 he lived in East Ogalalla, Keith, Nebraska. In 1910 he lived in Liberty, Perkins, Nebraska. He died on October 4, 1918, in Île-de-France, France, at the age of 26, and was buried in Hauts-de-Seine, France.
