Ada Marie Frank, 94, Berne passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Adams Memorial Hospital, Decatur. She was born on July 25, 1922 to the late Rufus and Cora Sprunger. She married Lester Frank on November 22, 1947. The enjoyed 57 years of marriage until his passing in 2005.
She retired as a secretary from First Mennonite Church. Until her decline in health, she was active in volunteering in her church and at Swiss Heritage Village. She was a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt adding sweetness, joy, and light to the lives of her loved ones.
Surviving are four children; Kaye Voth(Allen)of Overland Park, Kansas, Keith Frank((Dianne)of Fort Wayne, Kent Frank(Jeanne)of Berne, and Kurt Frank of Berne.
Also surviving are ten grandchildren; Brian Frank(Jenn), David Frank(Jen), Eric Frank(Sophie Patton)of Fort Wayne, Alex Frank(Emily)of San Jose, California, Lorri Baker(Caleb)of Olathe, Kansas, Brent Voth of Overland Park, Kansas, and Nicole Frank, Ian Frank, Natalia Frank, and Cline Frank of Berne.
And seven great-grandchildren; Lydia, Lukas, and Lawson Frank, Wolfgang Frank-Patton, and Marie Frank of Fort Wayne, and Josh and Lily Baker of Olathe, Kansas.
She is also survived by her sister, Marjorie Von Gunten of Berne. Preceding in death are her parents, husband, siblings, Millard Sprunger, Raymond Sprunger, and Helen Beer. A sister, Maryann Sprunger, died in infancy.
Funeral services are Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 10:30am at the Swiss Village Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation also Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at the Swiss Village Chapel. Officiating is Pastor Jeff Linthicum. Burial is in the MRE Cemetery, Berne.
